Insurance FAQs
Alay Health Team is sympathetic with the ongoing severity mental health care access in Wisconsin, thus we will accept all commercial insurance plan members on an out-of-network basis, excluding Medicare and Medicaid.
What Does "Out of Network" Mean?
It means that although we are not listed on your health insurance's "approved provider listing" we can still see you as our patient, but you will have to pay an amount higher than your usual copay. When they are sent the bill for your visit, your health insurance will reimburse you a specific amount for seeing a provider that is not on their "approved provider listing." This information is usually found in the member handbook provided when you initially enroll with your current health plan, and every health insurance has different policies when it comes to accessing out of network providers and what they will reimburse for a visit with an out of network provider.
The team members at Alay Health Team will assist you with the insurance process!
Simply contact our office at 262-260-9000 and a member of our staff will contact your insurance carriers to find out more about your specific out of network benefits and coverage.
